David K. Trachtenberg, DVM

Dr. Trachtenberg

Dr. Trachtenberg is a graduate of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, and is the owner of Ledgewood Equine Veterinary Clinic. He has practiced medicine in New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania, and began his own ambulatory practice in 1994. He is experienced in lameness evaluations, reproduction and general medicine. He has worked as a professional rider and trainer and is an avid dressage competitor when time permits.

Kent Burgesser, DVM, PhD, MS, DACVO

Dr. Burgesser

Dr. Burgesser is board-certified in ophthalmology. He received his DVM (Magna Cum Laude) from Colorado State University, where he also earned a Master of Science degree in Ophthamology. He also has a PhD in Biological Science from the University of Denver, and he did an internship at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. He has numerous publications in his field.

Thais McCoy, DVM

Dr. McCoy

Dr. McCoy is originally from Rhode Island. She recently graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island and did her undergraduate studies at Colgate University. She is joining the Ledgewood veterinarians this year as an intern. Her veterinary interests include podiatry, lameness and sport performance medicine, but she is excited to expand her interests with the wide variety of cases Ledgewood has. Thais also enjoys traveling and photography. Most of her spare time is spent with her boyfriend Andy, four off the track thoroughbreds and two Italian Greyhounds.

Rolfe Radcliffe, DVM, DACVS

Dr. Radcliffe

Dr. Radcliffe is a board certified surgeon who performed his residency at the University of Minnesota. Before joining Ledgewood Equine Veterinary Clinic he was a member of the surgery team at the University of Guelph in Canada and is currently on the surgery staff at Cornell. His experience includes arthroscopy, laparoscopy, fracture repair, colic surgeries and airway surgeries.
