Internship & Externship Programs

For any of our programs we ask that you send, fax, or email us a cover letter and resume. Please included dates that you are available. We would also like to know what your experience level with horses is, and what you would like to gain from internship/externship time spent with us.

Note: All Externs and Shadows are asked to dress professionally. The clinic recommends tasteful scrubs, or Khakis and a collared shirt. Winter appropriate clothes are recommended in inclement weather.

Internship Program

Fourth year veterinary students are eligible to apply for a year long internship position which starts in June. Candidates must be eligible for New York license after graduation. Preference will be given to applicants who have completed an externship program. Applications are to include a resume/CV and due January 15th of the internship year. Please visit the AAEP avenues website or contact us for more information.
