LEVC has been lucky enough to have Natalie Stabenow, a third year veterinary student from UPenn, riding with the doctors last week.  She will be here for the rest of this week too and will be greatly missed.  Thanks for visiting Ledgewood!

Everyone here at LEVC hopes that the new year is starting off well for our clients and their horses.  

We would also like to thank Christine Garvey, a 3rd year veterinary student from Cornell and Andrea Kelly, a 4th year veterinary student from the Ontario Veterinary College, for visiting LEVC.  You both were an indispensable source of help!

Ledgewood Equine would like to welcome Amy Ortez to the clinic.  Amy is a 4th year veterinary student visiting from the Atlantic Veterinary College.  Amy will be riding with our doctors for the next two weeks.

Earlier this month Dr. Trachtenberg went to the annual convention for the American Association of Equine Practitioners.  There he attended lectures and wetlabs and is excited to be able to apply the most current advances in equine veterinary medicine for our clinic and clients.

The clinic also got a new CBC machine (HM 5) to better serve our clients.  This state of the art CBC machine provides information on the various blood cells in your horses body.
