Ledgewood Equine Veterinary Clinic is
dedicated to providing high quality, comprehensive medical
and surgical care to horses throughout upstate New York.
Located between Rochester and Syracuse, the clinic has a
staff of veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians,
and support personnel that is available 24-hours a day to
handle emergency and routine cases.
Whether
your horse is a national competitor, a brood mare, a racehorse
or a pet, it will receive the best medical attention a modern
facility and highly trained staff can provide. LEVC’s client
base includes competition horses in all disciplines, Thoroughbred
and Standardbred racing horses, breeding stock, working farm
horses and pleasure horses.

Ledgewood Equine
Veterinary Clinic (LEVC) was founded by Dr. David Trachtenberg,
a dedicated equestrian since 1975, to serve the horse community.
He began his equine ambulatory practice in 1994, and then
expanded his practice by building a state-of-the-art equine
medical facility that was completed in 1999.
LEVC's mission
is to bring the highest quality care to both our referral
and our ambulatory patients. We are an organization of caregivers
who aspire to consistently high and constantly improving
standards of quality and cost-effectiveness. We seek to
improve animal health by delivering a broad range of services,
with sensitivity to the needs of our patients and their
owners.
